The usual problems when setting up few few, and how to fix them. Following the setup guide step by step avoids most of them.

Common problems

Six taps don’t open anything: Make sure you’re on the very first screen after the reset. If you already tapped Start, reset the phone again.
My camera shows text instead of a link: That’s expected. Only the reader from the six taps can use this QR code.
The phone asks for a Google account it used before: The account wasn’t removed before the reset. Type that account’s email and password once, then remove the account and reset again.
Texts from iPhones never arrive: The number is still registered with iMessage. See the iPhone note in “Before the reset” in the setup guide.
Unknown callers reach voicemail: few few blocks them, but your carrier forwards blocked calls to voicemail. Turn voicemail off: dial ##002# and press call before the reset, or do it from your carrier’s customer account. See step 3 of the setup guide.
Android asks to choose a phone app: That happens on Android 10 to 13, when you tap Finish. Choose few few: without it, calls from strangers would get through.
Calls end straight away: The phone can’t make calls with this SIM. Check that the same SIM works in another phone, and that this phone supports calls over 4G with your carrier.
