Privacy
Last updated: 23 October 2026
few few is built to know as little as possible. Your child’s contacts, messages, codes and alarm stay on the phone: they are never sent to us.
Who is responsible
Anthony Maison, publisher of few few (see the legal notice). For any question about your data: hello@fewfew.io.
What we keep, why, and for how long
- Purchase. Paddle, our reseller, handles payment and invoices under its own privacy notice. Paddle’s script is loaded on the home page and the purchase page so that the payment window can open: Paddle therefore receives technical data (IP address, browser) as soon as you open these pages, even if you don’t buy. We receive your email address and an order number, to send your licence and answer you. Kept as long as your licence exists, then as long as the law requires. Basis: the contract.
- Licence. Your licence code and a one-way fingerprint of the phone’s serial number (the number itself is never sent), so that one licence works on one phone. The fingerprint is deleted when the licence is freed. Basis: the contract.
- Live location. When someone on your list texts your parent code to the phone, it can share its location for one hour. The phone encrypts each position before sending it; the key exists only in the link sent by text message, and never reaches us. We store only the latest encrypted position, which we cannot read, and delete it one hour later. The simple location reply goes directly from phone to phone by text message. Basis: your request, as a parent.
- Updates and technical logs. Once a day, the phone checks our website for updates. Like any website, our host keeps short-lived technical logs (IP address, time, page). Basis: our legitimate interest in keeping few few working.
- Visit statistics. On the home page, Vercel Web Analytics, our host’s tool, counts visits: page, referring site, country, browser and device type. It uses no cookies and doesn’t identify you: a visit is recognised only by a temporary code computed from the request, discarded after 24 hours, and we only see totals. Basis: our legitimate interest in knowing how the site is used.
- Emails you send us. Kept as long as needed to answer you.
What we don’t do
No ads, no tracking cookies, no selling of data, no statistics beyond the visit counts above. Your child doesn’t need an account, Google or otherwise. The website uses no third-party fonts; its only third-party script is Paddle’s, on the home page and the purchase page.
Who helps us
- Vercel (website hosting and visit statistics, United States)
- Neon (database, United States)
- Paddle (payments, United Kingdom)
- Google Gmail and ImprovMX (our email)
- OpenStreetMap (map images on live-location pages: their servers see the viewer’s IP address and the map area)
When data leaves the European Union, it is protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
